Have you ever been to a store or restaurant and everyone seems to greet you when you walk in. Welcome to Moe’s! One restaurant where there employees have been trained to greet their customers. Show the customer that you are glad they are there.
Another thing that makes a great business is how they treat their customers. If you are mistreated by an employee, you will always remember that over how great the food was or how great the product was. Great customer service is always the best practice in having a great business. People remember how they were treated when they went to store or restaurant.
Next is the service. Were you waiting on quickly? Did they act like they wanted to assist you in finding the perfect dress? Or did they barely look at you and acknowledge you. Customers remember if their drinks were filled up or if the waitress asked them if they needed anything else. Did you offer them assistance with what they needed?
Notice the theme of this blog post. Customer service, treating customer the right way, offering assistance, and showing them that you are there for them is the key to a having a great business. I’ve been to stores and restaurants where they didn’t smile or say Hello. They didn’t hand you what you asked for, they threw it on the counter or table instead of your hand. Employees and Owners can make a huge difference on whether someone comes back. Then the customer can either tell their family and friends how great the business was or how they hated it.
